This is Leif's Furniture Mover. If you need to move furniture around a room
but don't yet know exactly how to order things, this program may help.
2 Panels
There are two panels.
1. The left panel is like a clipboard where you create furniture items for
use in the room.
2. The right panel is the main area for creating the room and moving furniture
around.
Left Panel
Items are created by clicking the "New" button in the
left panel. Item properties can always be changed later by clicking the
"Properties" button. To move an item over to the main panel, select an item by
clicking on it then clicking the "Add to Room" button. The "Remove" button
effectively destroys the item.
Right click on an item and a pop-up menu comes up with these functions.
Right Panel
The room is created by right clicking where you want
corners for the walls to be placed. In the pop-up menu, select "New corner".
Once the corner is created, it can be moved by clicking and dragging or deleted
by right clicking on it and selecting "Delete corner" from the pop-up menu.
New corners can be created in the middle of a wall line by right clicking
near the wall. Just drag the new corner wherever you like.
Right click on furniture for a different pop-up menu. It's self-explanatory.
Room Files
Arrangements can be saved for future use through the menu
bar. "File > Save" allows you to save things in a .furn file. "File > New" and
"File > Open" are equally obvious. "File > Options" allows you to set your
preferences for the entire application.
